Mobile App Development — iOS & Android

Native or cross-platform mobile apps that ship to the App Store and Google Play, with the backend, admin panel and analytics built in — not just the screens.

Native iOS & Android, or cross-platform (React Native / Flutter) — whichever fits your budget and roadmap
App Store and Google Play submission handled end-to-end, rejections included
Backend API, database and admin panel built in, not just the front-end screens
Push notifications, in-app analytics and crash reporting wired in from day one
Payment integration (Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay) where the app needs it
Post-launch support window included, ongoing maintenance available after
Clean handoff — documented code, no proprietary lock-in

Shipped to the store, not just designed

Most mobile app projects stall in the same place: a polished Figma file and no working backend, no admin panel to manage the data, and no plan for what App Store review actually requires. We build the whole thing — app, backend, admin panel, and the submission itself — so “done” means live in the store, not a prototype waiting for someone to finish it.

What’s included, every time

  • The app — native iOS/Android or cross-platform with React Native or Flutter, built against your actual spec, not a generic template.
  • The backend — an API and database your app actually talks to, not a mock that breaks the moment real users show up.
  • An admin panel — because someone on your team needs to manage users, content or orders without asking us to run a database query.
  • Analytics and crash reporting — wired in from the first build, so you know what is breaking and what people actually use before it becomes a support ticket.
  • Store submission — App Store and Google Play, including the resubmission cycle when a first pass gets bounced on a guideline detail.

After launch

An app is not finished at launch — it is finished when it survives the next OS update. Every tier includes a post-launch support window; Scale & Maintain keeps the same team on retainer for ongoing feature work, OS compatibility and crash-rate monitoring, so you are not searching for a new developer every time Apple ships an update.

Frequently Asked Questions

Native or cross-platform — which should we build?
Cross-platform (React Native or Flutter) covers most apps well and roughly halves the build cost, because one codebase ships to both stores. Native makes sense when you need heavy device-specific functionality — deep camera or sensor access, AR, high-performance games — or when your team will maintain it long-term and already has native expertise. We tell you which fits before you commit, not after.
How long does an MVP actually take?
An MVP with one core user flow typically ships in 6–10 weeks, including App Store review time (which you don't fully control — Apple's review alone can add 1–2 weeks). A Full Build with a complete feature set usually runs 12–20 weeks depending on scope. We give you a working, testable build well before launch, not just a demo in the last week.
Do you handle App Store / Google Play submission and rejections?
Yes, end-to-end. Apple's review process rejects a meaningful share of first submissions over guideline details — privacy manifests, screenshot requirements, in-app purchase rules — that have nothing to do with whether your app works. We handle the resubmission cycle as part of every tier, so a rejection doesn't become your problem to solve.
What happens after launch — do you maintain the app?
Every tier includes a post-launch support window (30–90 days) for bug fixes tied to the build. Beyond that, the Scale & Maintain tier is ongoing monthly support — OS updates break things on a predictable schedule (a new iOS version every year, Android fragmentation year-round), and someone needs to keep up with that even if you are not shipping new features.
Can you take over an existing app codebase?
Usually, yes. We start with a short codebase audit — architecture, dependency health, test coverage, technical debt — before quoting ongoing work, so you know what you are inheriting rather than discovering it mid-sprint. If the codebase is in bad enough shape that a rebuild is genuinely cheaper than continuing it, we say so.
Do you build the backend too, or just the app?
The backend, database and admin panel are part of every tier above MVP — a mobile app without a way to manage its own data is not a shippable product. If you already have a backend (your own API, Firebase, Supabase), we build against it instead of duplicating it.
